Your correspondence with me, from enquiry to the day of the party was excellent; informative and timely. On the night itself, both the pig and Ben the chef, were a huge hit with my daughter’s guests at her 18th birthday party. Ben arrived ahead of schedule, in spite of the awful rainy weather, and was set up quickly and efficiently. He expertly guided us on when to announce the food was ready and when to remind people to get it before he needed to depart. On departure he ensured we could salvage all of the remaining meat, stuffing, accompaniments and even the head, all of which were distributed amongst the family to finish off. The pig was beautifully cooked – tender and delicious, not dry at all – and all of the guests remarked on how much they enjoyed it.
