Well what a weekend to contend with all the high winds, and the temperatures were well below zero in our part of the country. Our venue this weekend was the beautiful Thornton Manor just outside Raby.
This was a double celebration a 65th birthday and a 21st birthday for 70 guests who were looking forward to enjoying the local Welsh spit roast lamb seasoned with garlic and rosemary, to be served with all the trimmings and golden roasted potatoes.
We are arrived early to start the cooking process as serve time was three in the afternoon and as we proceeded along the drive all the grass was covered in frost making a scene fit for a postcard.
The roasted root vegetables combined with the aroma of the lamb made everyone hungry and when service time arrived the quests thoroughly enjoyed all our efforts. Another fantastic event by hog roast Raby.
