Harry and his girlfriend Lily have been travelling for the last twelve months, with stops in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. They had an amazing time and sent lots of photos to their loved ones when they could, but they were certainly missed by friends and family back home in England. Since they are set to return this May, Harry’s parents have organised a welcome home party so that they can catch up with everyone and see how much they were missed. The party is taking place at Harry’s family home in the Wirral. Hog Roast Wallasey has been hired to cater for the occasion, with the guests of honour able to enjoy a delicious, hearty hog roast to remind them of how incredible English cooking can be!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Wallasey team is planning on arriving at the private venue in the morning to ensure that we have plenty of time to cook our menu before the 5:00pm serving time. We will start by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook to perfection before being expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips, corn cobettes, and a variety of fresh salad options, to create a well-rounded and delicious evening buffet.
