We do offer our customers the option of us providing the meat for an extra cost, if needed, which is sourced from the same excellent suppliers who provide the high-quality, fresh meat that we cook with when catering parties and events. Mind you, that’s only an added extra if you need it and is simply there for your convenience, as you are always welcome to cook your own meat instead of course.
Ricky recently hired one of our hog roasting machines so that he could cook a feast of hog roast rolls for the guests invited to his wife’s milestone birthday party. Here at Hog Roast Ellesmere Port, we call them pigs in buns, and they are moreish pieces of heaven, with fresh bread rolls filled with hot meat and crackling – both carved off straight after cooking – and apple sauce and stuffing. Ricky wanted to create the same kind of culinary masterpieces for his family and friends too, especially for his wife’s 50th.
Our Hog Roast Ellesmere Port chef delivered a machine and a medium-sized hog to Ricky at his home on the day of the party and walked him through everything needed. Once he was comfortable with the process, we left him to his own devices, where he just couldn’t wait to get stuck in!
