Last week the Hog Roast Little Sutton team spent a busy and rewarding day catering for a company who were celebrating their recent success in expanding their premises and employing a new team. They wanted to organise a fun and sociable event that would give their existing and new staff the opportunity to get to know each other and join together to raise a glass to the company’s exciting achievement. Great food is of course, essential to the success of any party, which is why the company decided to leave the catering in our capable hands!
A lot of people might think a hog roast is not refined enough for corporate catering, but thanks to Hog Roast Little Sutton’s inventive and stylish corporate catering menus, this opinion is rapidly changing in the local area!
The company wanted modern food with a touch of flair, but they didn’t anything overly formal, so they decided one of our hog roast buffet menus with a selection of freshly made salads would be perfect! They opted for one of signature hog roasts for their now 200-strong workforce, as it is always the ideal way of feeding a lot of people without breaking the bank. To accompany this, they chose a mixture of scrumptious side dishes, including our creamy home-made coleslaw, crispy Thai salad and classic Caesar salad, along with jacket potato wedges. Not only were they impressed with the fact that we made every single element of their menu from scratch at their venue on the day using high quality, locally-sourced ingredients, they were also incredibly pleased with our ability to cater for different diets, with the provision of a freshly-made vegetarian alternative and gluten-free bread rolls!
The event was a very upbeat and sociable affair, thanks in part to our buffet-style service provided by our friendly and helpful catering team, and our food proved to be very popular with all of their employees! The company achieved what they wanted from the event and felt that our food really helped to bring everyone together.
