To celebrate the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, Lisa wanted to host an event at her bar for customers to enjoy. The event was set to be a lot of fun, with guests able to enjoy a selection of signature cocktails, drinks, music, dancing, and catering from Hog Roast Moreton. To make the event even more memorable, Lisa planned to team up with Hog Roast Moreton and use our catering for the event. After looking through our menus, it was decided that a classic hog roast would be the best option for the event as it can be served quickly to the 200 guests while still tasting delicious!
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Moreton team planned to arrive at the bar in the afternoon, giving ourselves plenty of time for the 8:00pm mealtime. The hog would need around 6 hours to roast to perfection and to make sure that it was packed full of natural juices and flavour. Once carved, the meat will then be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. As well as pork rolls, we will also be served BBQ pulled jackfruit for meat-free guests. This buffet will be a great addition to the evening as it will be another great aspect for guests to enjoy, as well as a way to soak up a little of the alcohol before midnight!
