When Martin and his staff had to return to work after the festive break, he wanted to make the transition as smooth as possible for his team. This included providing a delicious lunch for his staff on the first day back, with a delicious buffet menu served by Hog Roast Gayton. Our catering was ideal for the event as it would be prepared on site on the day of the event, using only the highest quality ingredients. This would ensure a delicious meal for all of the staff and a relaxing lunch break. After looking through our menus, Martin decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal, along with a meat-free alternative.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Gayton team arrived at the office block early, giving us plenty of time to prepare for the 1:00pm lunchtime. We began by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it was roasted to perfection. Once ready, it was expertly carved by our chef and served with sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we also provided delicious BBQ pulled jackfruit. Both main dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, or a gluten-free alternative, as well as a simple salad option and homemade chips. This created a delicious office lunch, with plenty for the team to enjoy. This was a great alternative to the regular lunch choices and was also the perfect way to boost morale among the group.
