Hog Roast Barnston Putting On A Spread For A Bar Staff Party!

After spending the hectic festive period helping everyone else have a good time, the manager of a local bar thought his hardworking staff deserved to kick back and enjoy themselves after all the Christmas parties were over, so he decided to throw them a party of their own. He didn’t want anyone to lift a finger all night, so he needed outside help in the catering department and he called upon Hog Roast Barnston to assist him!

He picked us not only for our great food but also because we have the flexibility to provide it in any location, both indoors and outdoors. Although the party was taking place in the bar, it was going to be a very different evening indeed for all the staff, with them being waited on for once and being treated to some fab food courtesy of the Hog Roast Barnston team!

The manager opted for the full works for his loyal workforce, including an assortment of canapes and some decadent desserts to finish the meal off. He decided on a mixture of classic and more exotic flavour combinations for the opening nibbles, including feta skewers, tiger prawns, Peking duck wraps and chicken satay. He wanted to flavour fusion to continue throughout the menu, which is why he chose some of our zingy chicken kebabs and marinated spare ribs to go along with one of our classic hog roasts, all accompanied by a mixture of side salads and polished off with a rich chocolate torte and individual cheesecakes. Quite a feast indeed for his staff to savour!

Our compact set-up meant that when we arrived, we didn’t take up too much space in the restaurant area of the bar the manager had picked for our preparation and serving zone, in fact he was very taken aback at how little equipment we required to pull off such a large spread!

Everyone was already thrilled to be having a well-deserved night-off and even more thrilled with the abundance of fantastic food that awaited them! The staff party was a huge success and with Hog Roast Barnston looking after everyone for the evening, they all agreed that it made being overworked over the Christmas period more then worth all the effort!
